Acta Solutions Welcomes Longtime Chapel Hill Leader Chris Blue to Spearhead Public Safety Expansion

Raleigh, NC – 9.24.25 – Acta Solutions is proud to announce that Chris Blue, a longtime Chapel Hill leader with nearly three decades of public service, has joined our team as Public Safety Solutions Specialist.

Chris began his career as a patrol officer in 1997 and rose through the ranks to serve 12 years as Chapel Hill’s Police Chief before being appointed Town Manager. Over his 28 years of service, he also oversaw Parking Services, Building & Development Services, Code Enforcement, and Emergency Management, bringing a unique, cross-departmental perspective to his work.

At Acta, Chris will lead our efforts to expand into the public safety sector. His deep experience in law enforcement and local government will guide the development of solutions that empower agencies to streamline communication, centralize knowledge, and better serve their communities.
