Mission-driven work

Join a growing GovTech team creating practical tools that help public agencies communicate clearly, simplify service delivery, and better support constituents.

Acta is a tight-knit, agile team building software that helps public agencies improve constituent communication and service delivery. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, work closely with company leaders, and see how your work moves from an idea into a product customers use.
Build technology that strengthens governments’ ability to support constituents as they apply for and receive public services.
Take responsibility for meaningful work, contribute to broader product conversations, and grow your ownership as you become familiar with our systems and customers.
Work alongside experienced engineers, product builders, and company leaders in a team where questions, feedback, and thoughtful recommendations are welcomed.
We are looking for motivated, thoughtful people who want to solve meaningful problems, continue growing, and help public agencies serve constituents more effectively.
Acta Solutions is a rapidly growing GovTech startup powering better customer service for governments. Our mission is to simplify government workflows. We work with public agencies across the country and provide them with constituent-communication and service delivery software that strengthens governments’ ability to support constituents as they apply for and receive services.
Acta’s software-as-a-service solution enhances communications workflows within public agencies via AI enabled tools to develop an internal knowledge-base, auto-compose responses, retrieve geography-specific regulatory information and streamline coordination between local government staff. We sell to public agencies in 10 states who serve over 8M constituents daily. Our team is tight-knit, agile, and growing rapidly.
The Junior Software Engineer role is an opportunity to grow into a well-rounded engineer while doing work that directly and significantly impacts our customers and business. As a member of a small engineering team, you will work closely with our CTO to ship features across our product, learning the full stack as you go.
This is a hands-on role built for someone early in their career who is hungry to learn. You will start with well-scoped, clearly defined tickets and progressively take on more ownership as you grow in familiarity with our systems, technologies, and processes. You will not be siloed—you'll see how features move from idea to production, and your input will be welcomed in conversations about how we build.
The ideal Junior Engineer is a quick learner, a strong communicator, and not afraid to ask questions. If you're looking for a role where you'll be challenged, mentored, and see your work bring real value to customers, we'd love to meet you.
We're serious about modern engineering practice. AI-assisted development is part of our daily workflow, not an afterthought—you'll learn to use these tools well early in your career, which is increasingly what separates strong engineers from the pack.

The Software Engineer is an individual-contributor role for an engineer ready to own major features end-to-end and shape the direction of our product and systems. You'll work directly with our CTO on the engineering that matters most to our customers and our business, with real autonomy over how it gets built.
As an engineer on our team you will lead development on system-critical engineering, weigh tradeoffs across competing design approaches, give well-considered recommendations with minimal oversight, and at times own feature development independently. You’ll also play a role in determining scope—estimating accurately, managing requirement changes, articulating tradeoffs to stakeholders, and keeping the team informed as velocity shifts.
If you want a role where your technical decisions carry weight, where you're trusted to own hard problems across the full stack, and where your work visibly improves how millions of people access public services, we'd love to meet you.

Acta Solutions is an AI platform built exclusively for local government. We help cities and counties respond faster and more accurately to the public by putting AI directly inside the tools staff already use. Our customers include 60+ cities and counties across the US, including Maricopa County, the largest county in the country.
We're a lean, mission-driven team building a new category in govtech. Everyone wears multiple hats, moves fast, and takes ownership.
We're looking for a BDR who knows how to develop relationships, not just run sequences. Selling to local government is different from enterprise SaaS: sales cycles average 6-9 months, buyers are relationship-driven, and trust is earned before a demo ever gets booked. Your job is to build and warm pipeline across our target verticals: community development, permitting, public safety, and city/county management.
You'll own early-stage pipeline generation, represent Acta at conferences (we attend several per year), and help us expand into new executive buyer personas and verticals. This is a high-ownership role with a direct line to the founding team and a clear path to BDR Manager or AE.

Acta is a small, fast-moving team where people communicate openly, give and receive feedback, and stay focused on the value our work delivers to customers.
Our full-time roles include benefits and opportunities designed to help team members do strong work, continue learning, and contribute to the company’s direction.
A full benefits package is available for full-time employees.
Benefits that support your future as well as your work today.
Take on more responsibility as you build familiarity with our products and customers.
Work closely with engineers, product builders, and company leaders.
Contribute to broader product vision and see the direct impact of your work.
Casual dress, regular outings, celebrations, feedback, and close collaboration.
We are always interested in meeting thoughtful people who care about technology, public service, and solving meaningful problems.
