Chris Blue

Chris worked in local government for 28 years.  Along the way, he had the opportunity to lead Parking Services, Building and Development Services/Code Enforcement, and Emergency Management departments.  He also served as Chief of Police and Town Manager during his career.

Chris has a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Motion Pictures from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his master’s in public administration from North Carolina State University.  Fun facts about Chris:

• He rescues animals and he currently has six dogs, three of which are well over 100 lbs.!
• He has an extensive collection of stringed instruments and loves to play the guitar.
• He is married with 2 daughters.
